Foster Parent Scholarship Fund:
In Memory of Ed Farmer

Following the untimely passing of FFTA Board Member Ed Farmer, the Board of Directors formed an ad-hoc committee to make recommendations about an appropriate memorial in his honor. Considering the fact that the future will bring the passing of others who have also made significant contributions to FFTA, the committee recommended, and the Board approved at its meeting in July 2007, the establishment of the FFTA Leadership Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship provides FFTA conference registration and a hotel room, plus up to $1,000.00 in a travel stipend, for one (or more) foster parents who are nominated by FFTA member agencies. The FFTA Board of Directors is committed to conducting ongoing fund-raising to support this scholarship and to ensure its continuation for years to come. We invite you to help us sustain this important scholarship program by making a donation.
